Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts absolutely hated each other while filming the rom-com I Love Trouble. Roberts found Nolte to be “completely disgusting” and when Nolte was asked about Roberts he replied saying, “She’s not a nice person—everyone knows that.” Due to this hatred the on-screen couple completely lacked chemistry and at one point the two of them refused to film scenes together. Instead they filmed scenes separately and editors had to place them together.
