Getting assigned homework as a kid was always a major bummer! How many of us absolutely dreaded coming back home only to have to open up our textbooks and relive school all over again? It seems that kids these days still feel the same way and they’ve found an absolutely hilarious way to combat the boredom. Here are some of the funniest homework answers from some students. Whether it’s a snarky response to a math problem or just some creative mental gymnastics, these kids have figured out how to think outside the box!
20. Family Portrait
This kid’s assignment was simple: write a sentence about a family member and draw a picture that matches up to the sentence. It seems that mommy sure does love her wine – what parent of a 5-year-old doesn’t?! Talk about a hilarious family portrait!
19. The Harsh Truth
Sometimes the truth is a bit morbid, but you can’t deny that this is a pretty excellent representation! It seems that this kid is a realist and we can only respect that. Next, we have a kid that took the idea of a “cell” quite literally…
18. Plant Cell
It seems that this kid took the idea of a “plant cell” quite literally. Although the correct answer would have been to draw a cytoplasm, we think he still deserves some half-credit for this. After all, this is a pretty accurate depiction of a flower in a jail cell.
For the sake of the kid, we can understand why they chose this answer. After all, circle one is in bold right next to all of the other answers. It’s not their fault they took the answer quite literally. However, we can all appreciate the good laugh this one must have gotten from the teacher.
16. Tough Love
It seems that this kid definitely believes in some tough love. After all, instead of whining about your problems the best solution is to just get up and keep the ball rolling. This kid could eventually grow up to be an amazing high school gym teacher, after all, they’re the inventors of tough love!
Next, we have a kid that figured out a computer shortcut to his assignment, unfortunately his assignment was on paper…
15. Copy & Paste
It seems that this kid has gotten used to the technological era. This certainly would have worked on a computer, but on paper…not so much! However, you had to admit that it’s a pretty creative way to get around the assignment.
14. Easter Bunny
This little kid has their priorities straight! After all, what better way to spend their millions of dollars than on a mansion and bucketload of bacon? Seems like they’re going to be going far in life.
It seems that this kid is a true patriot. We’re not exactly sure why they decided to inform us about how cooking an American eagle is illegal, however, we can bet that they take the pledge of allegiance seriously. Our next kid found a serious loophole in their homework assignment…
This kid found a serious loophole in finishing off this homework assignment. They can probably enjoy a great career as a lawyer in the future. That is, if they can figure out how to spell ten more words….
11. Serious BURN
If you were wondering if the ‘yo mama’ joke era has ended, it seems that it is far from over. This kid has brought it back with a vengeance with an amazing burn. We can only assume that the teacher felt the burn after reading this one…

You have to give this kid credit for the complete and total honesty! Even though they might not be a math expert, they should certainly be given credit for being an honest person. After all, honesty really is the best policy.

Our next student gave a pretty worrisome answer to their homework assignment…
4. Worrisome Answer
We’re really hoping that this was just a silly response. After all, if this kid is going around eating brains we’ve got a bigger problem than a weird homework answer. Our next kid took the idea of ‘naming’ triangles a bit too literally and you’ll crack up when you see the names.
3. Naming Triangles
Forget about obtuse, isosceles, and right triangles – those are old news! Obviously these triangles are really Sally, Bob, and Olivia. Who could argue with that?! It seems so fitting.
2. Past Tense
This one takes a bit of history knowledge to understand. This answer would technically be correct since Tokyo used to be called Edo back in 1868. It seems that this kid really took things to the past tense.
