Alon ShaboMy name is Alon Shabo and I radically transformed my life through fitness. I’m a personal trainer, online coach, and writer.

Growing up I was always known as this awkward skinny guy plagued by confidence issues. In college I decided to make a change, and set out to learn and self experiment as much as I could.

Within two years, I developed my own systems that helped me add over 50 pounds of lean muscle to my physique while still living the college lifestyle to the fullest. Between learning as much as I could and getting my first training certifications, my life had completely transformed in unimaginable ways.

After graduating from San Diego State University, I moved to Israel to work for a hi-tech startup company. After a few months, I realized that sitting in front of a computer for 10+ hours a day was terrible for my testosterone levels, and not what I wanted out of life, so I made the best decision of my life – I quit on a whim without knowing what my next step was.

Prior to starting my online coaching company, www.shabofit.com, I worked as a bodyguard in Israel while building my reputation as a personal trainer. I had the privilege of learning Krav Maga from some of Israel’s most elite combat soldiers, and had a great experience in that line of work (although sketchy at times).

The life-changing transformation I experienced is what inspired me to call this fitness thing “my life calling”.

Today, I spend most of my time helping others become the best possible version of themselves through sustainable and effective fitness habits that bring encouraging mental and physical results in a timely manner.
