You come here to Confitdent.com and you’re looking for coverage on what is one of the year’s biggest events in gaming: the E3. E3 is where gaming comes to play, where new games are announced and tried out, and where gamers can giggle in awe at the costumed girls (yeah, you knew that was coming). E3 2014, like many of the previous E3 events (except that dreadful E3 where it was like a ghost town), has been getting nothing but positive responses from the gaming fans and the gaming industry. Now, for the first time, Confitdent.com is giving you, and the many other gamer readers out there, a nice highlight coverage for E3 here. So what are you waiting for? Dive in gamers. By the way: some of these videos may take a chunk out of your time so make sure you have free time for yourself.

Nintendo Direct Press Conference

The day started really well for E3 when Nintendo broadcasted this conference to really get the day going. This conference was really quite a mouthful, ranging from the reveal of Amiibo figurines (equivalent to Skylanders and Disney Infinity figurines), the new Legend of Zelda for Wii U, more Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS, Pac-Man revealed!, Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles X… and more. Check it!

Pre-E3 Conferences

Seems many of the big companies wanted to get people started on E3 even before E3 started, so that’s why we have here the conferences for some of the big companies that wanted E3 already even before the doors opened. We have Microsoft, who showed some cool stuff for Titanfall and the support of a Kinect-less Xbox One, new sequel to that Lara Croft and Temple of Doom, a new Forza Horizon 2 ; Sony revealed GTA V coming to PS4 (and then later, by Rockstar, for the Xbox One and PC), the spiritual sequel to Demon’s Souls called Bloodborne, some cool gameplay for The Order: 1886, a nice teaser for Uncharted 4, a new trailer for PS4 version of The Last of Us, PlayStation TV coming to the West… yup, lots of stuff. There was also EA’s conference, where they revealed the new Mass Effect 4, a new preview to Dragon Age: Inquisition, some new DLCs for Titanfall; and finally, we had Ubisoft, where they revealed Just Dance 2015 and Just Dance Now, a new Just Dance game that uses only TV and smartphone, and (awesome) next-gen Assassin’s Creed Unity with 4 PLAYER CO-OP. Beat that! Oh, and a trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

E3 2014

So here we have some of the highlights you’ll want to see. Let’s see… so we have some demo plays for anticipated games like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS, Batman: Arkham Knight and Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor; a new preview for the highly anticipated sequel Far Cry 4; and more! There’s also Shigeru Miyamoto’s trial for the new Star Fox game on Wii U, and two of his projects: a tower defense game and some robot game. There’s also Bayonetta 2, with a new trailer and the best reveal ever: Bayonetta 1 bundled with the former in retail, along with awesome enhancements, such as 60FPS, off-tv player and NINTENDO COSTUMES!

So these are some of the highlights of E3 2014. From the amiibos, Pac-Man revealed to Bloodborne, the game that will scare the Beejesus out of ya, E3’s always the place to make reveals to the game world that will surely leave waves until the release.
