There’s nothing more heartbreaking than watching an animal struggle to survive. Paul Nicklen saw it for himself when he was on a boat and something that looked like a blanket placed over a rock started moving.
It turned out to be a polar bear that managed to move and get up. From afar, Nicklen took a picture and swore to himself he would turn back again with other members of his conservation organization to show the world how animals struggle due to global warming. Everyone was in tears.
