Side Effects

There have been no known negative side effects as a result of taking supplements that contain the saw palmetto.  But depending on the brand of the health supplement, some people might actually suffer from mild nausea, headache, dizziness, diarrhea and constipation. This could be due to the chemicals and toxins that were added on the product in order to make it more effective. It is therefore important to choose the right supplement well. Furthermore, pregnant and breast feeding women are not recommended to take these types of supplements.

There are now lots of companies that produce health supplements with saw palmetto as its main ingredient. You can purchase it at any health store near you and you can even purchase it online.
