9. Saving a Life
The boys and the lumberjack definitely saved the dog’s life that day. Officer Hurley told Massachusetts Live, “If no one had been working that day it would have been all over for the poor animal.” The authorities are still looking for the dog’s original owner who left the animal to die on the roadside. During the press release, Hurley stated, “This is clearly a case of animal cruelty and abandonment.” Authorities do intend on finding the owner and punishing them to the full extent of the law for animal cruelty charges, in hopes that this type of behavior never happens again.
