Think you’ve tried every diet out there and still not happy with the results? If you’re a regular reader of this site, you should already know that even if you do get down to your goal weight by dieting, keeping it off will require a lifestyle change that includes regular exercise. Nevertheless, a change in your diet is important and if you’ve already tried your fair share of diets, you might want to consider trying the Raw ’til 4 diet.

The Raw ‘til 4 diet is something that has both positive and negative reviews all over the Internet. If you search for it with any search engine, Freelee the banana girl will pop up on almost every article on the page. She started the diet over four years ago and since has dedicated herself to the raw lifestyle, creating a huge following and tons of raving reviews. Raw ‘til 4 is just how it sounds, consuming only raw fruits and greens until 4 o’clock or dinner time.

This diet is all about consumption, there is no calorie counting although Freelee does recommend a certain amount of calories that should be reached by both males and females. It is the amount of calories that she suggests that scares a lot of people away. For females it is about 2,100+ and for men it’s 2,800-3,000+. While this may seem like a lot, fruit can only keep you full for so long. At dinnertime, you finally eat cooked food as long as they are root veggies. You can find the recipes here, and if you’re doing the diet right, you shouldn’t be craving any sweets or fruits after dinner. Freelee doesn’t allow any animal products whatsoever while on the diet, which she says helps prevent digestion problems and upset stomachs. She also says to start the day out with some sort of physical activity for 30 minutes.

On the outside this diet seems like a miracle, eating delicious fruits that are low in all the bad things and high in all the good and not having to do all that much exercising. In the long run, this diet will help you be healthy and stay healthy. However, this is not just a diet it is a lifestyle and on this diet you will have to eat 10-20 bananas a day along with a whole watermelon, two pints of strawberries and as much water as you can possibly drink. If all of that sounds okay, it might be a diet option worth exploring.
