Well, looks like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is coming back into reality, and this time, they’re computer-generated. Cowa— okay, I’m not going there.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) is a reboot of the aptly-titled movie series where 4 turtles who have mysteriously been mutated into the form of teenage mutant ninja turtles are tasked to protect New York City from an evil corporation led by the mysterious Shredder. Taught by the mutated rat known as Master Splinter (man, he’s their sensei?), the turtles must stop Shredder and his goons at all costs. They have  vowed never to reveal their identities or looks to the citizens they save. But that sure ain’t gonna happen because April (Megan Fox) catches them on camera by chance. And so begins an adventure that’s sure to have lots of CGI effects, lots of action, lots of humor, lots of funny and witty dialogue and some awesome apperances from Will Arnett and Whoopi Goldberg (yes, they’re in this movie. Check the trailer). Good thing this movie is only produced by Michael Bay, so expect that there won’t be any humanity doomed. Well, it’s New York that’s doomed but hey, if you got turtles that can make us laugh, I’m down with it. I’m hoping they can at least utter “Cowabunga!” somewhere here.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is coming next month.
