Woody Allen
The American performer is more popularly known as an actor, comedian, and musician with a career that goes back as far as 50 years. However, Allen is also a playwright, screenwriter, and director with 24 nominations in the Academy. He started winning an Oscar with his Blue Jasmine film, then went on to win three other Academy Awards, one for Best Director. Currently, Allen is brewing a 1920s romance, Magic in the Moonlight, which is slated to release in July 2014.
