This Romanian young man was only 16 years old in the photo. He became The General Secretary Of The Romanian Communist Party and then the President of Romania in 1967. Both he and his wife got executed on 25 December 1989, by a firing squad as a capital punishment for convictions of economic sabotage and genocide. Capital punishment was abolished afterward.
