The term absent-minded has been studied from as far as Ancient Greece. Numerous reports are showing that brilliant people who have the greatest ideas are usually absent-minded in their daily lives. Thales of Miletus (in the picture above) was a famous Greek philosopher who was so focused on the night sky that he fell into a well. The next example of absent-minded genius will make you understand this term even better.
