It’s our pleasure to introduce you to Kristen Wetherbee. She is a model that is sincere, gorgeous, and is here to help you make a strong impression on hotties everywhere.

In fact, she has plenty of insight on whether hitting on girls at the gym is acceptable and she also discusses her stance on pick-up lines. Interestingly enough, Kristen Wetherbee is crystal clear that you should scrap any pick-up lines and deliver a genuine compliment. Make that genuine compliment something sincere that shows you are paying attention to something deeper than the exterior. A nice smile, a cute laugh, or complimenting her intelligence or sense of humor show that you are paying close attention to her personality or even her state of mind. Most importantly, speak up and say something. Most attractive girls like Kristen Wetherbee either don’t get approached because guys are intimidated or they get approached by some tool.

We love Kristen Wetherbee. We love the sense of humor and wit that Kristen Weatherbee modestly shows off in this interview. We love that Kristen Wetherbee has great advice to help make a lasting impression with the ladies. So let’s get to it…

What is the best way for a guy to approach a girl at the gym if at all? How can we motivate girlfriends to go to the gym?

I speak for most girls when I say we don’t want to be approached at the gym. There is nothing more annoying than a guy trying to talk to you while you have your headphones in in the middle of a sit up. If you can catch her as she’s leaving that may be a better time. If you want to motivate your girlfriend to go to the gym just try and make it into a routine thing for the both of you to enjoy. Once she starts seeing results she’ll be addicted.

A lot of very fit people have a huge catalyst that drove them to the next level – whether it is a health scare, a relationship, or something of that nature? Was there anything that urged you to become so dedicated?

The way I look at it is – there are many things in life that you can’t control, and your body is not one of them. So I’ve always taken pride in getting my figure to look the way I want it to. A great body to me is a reflection of dedication and hard work. Being healthy and fit is the lifestyle that I’ve chosen and I can’t really see it being any other way.

Most embarrassing moment you’ve ever had at the gym?

Well, I haven’t fallen off the treadmill. I can’t really think of anything too embarrassing inside the gym..but in the parking lot I did try and get into a car that I thought was mine as the owner was right behind me

What does your fitness routine entail?

I always start off on the treadmill, either running or walking on an incline to get my heart rate up. Then I do about 15 minutes of various ab exercises. I work on my arms with 5 pound free weights, and finish off with some stretching. Apart from the gym I try and get into a hot yoga or bikram yoga class a couple times a week. I also love taking Zumba or any kind of dance fitness classes, fun way to get in shape and a great workout.

What’s your favorite part of your body and what do you do to keep it the way you like?

I ’d have to say my legs. They require the least effort and still manage to be better than any other part of my body that I’m constantly working on. I don’t have to do much more than the treadmill to keep them how I want them.

Kristen Wetherbee on Nutrition

What’s your take on a guy who doesn’t drink when at the bar because he is staying in shape?

Personally, I don’t think he should bother going to a bar if he’s not going to have a drink and let loose. It doesn’t have to be excessive but a couple light beers or vodka sodas isn’t going to kill you.

What is your go-to cheat meal?

I’m a sucker for icecream. Thankfully there’s some sugar free options or I’d be in trouble.

What are three nutrition tips that you’d like guys to follow?

Try black coffee before the gym instead of a crazy pre-workout drink. Eat three meals a day with a small snack in between – this goes for everyone, its not good to not eat all day and then have one huge meal at the end of the day when you’re starving. Practice routine eating – 3 meals a day at the same time each day.
If you’re going to drink beer make it light. And if you’re going to drink hard alcohol stick to vodka and soda water. This will help you avoid a hangovers and extra calories. If it’s too bland squeeze couple limes/lemons in there.

What are your favorite meals to keep in shape? Want to share your recipe?

I stay in shape basically with a low carb diet. I am a vegetarian so protein shakes have become either a meal replacement or in between meal snack depending on what I put in them. My go to is a scoop of chocolate whey protein, half a portion of light and fit plain yogurt, crushed ice, a cup of unsweetened coconut almond milk, and a half a banana. If you have a sweet tooth like me throw a packet of Truvia in there (replace this with Splenda – its an all natural calorie-free sweetener)

What’s your recommendation for a healthy snack? Got any tricks to keep yourself on track?

I usually have a plain flavored Greek yogurt with a Truvia packet to sweeten it up. But I want to share my new recipe that everyone needs to try- In the put a packet of Orange flavored Emergen-C in the blender with crushed ice, water, a scoop of vanilla whey protein and half a portion of light and fit vanilla yogurt- tastes like a creamsicle! The Emergen-C is used as a dietary supplement containing 1,000mg of vitamin C, 24 nutrients with 7 B Vitamins, as well as antioxidants and electrolytes. Definitely a great way to start the day!

Where would you typically find a fit girl on a Friday/Saturday night? What would be your ideal date?

Well, she definitely won’t be the girl falling over in the club, or the girl drunk eating at the pizza place late night. Maybe she’s out with few girlfriends with a grey goose martini, or spending the night in to get some rest and an early start to the morning. My ideal date would be anything spontaneous/adventurous to break the ice. Dinner and drinks are nice but throw something out of the norm at me and I may be a little more interested J

Rank these, starting with which you find the most attractive:

  • A man with a sense of humor 1
  • A man who eats healthy 4
  • A man who exercises routinely 2
  • A man who dresses well 3

Which male celebrity do you think has the most attractive physique?

Channing Tatum – perfection

What was the best and worst pick up line you’ve ever heard? Do you think they ever work?

Worst: “I want to be the reason why you don’t have to work this hard” – I mean, its not terrible, but I was kind of offended. I work hard because I want to not necessarily because I need to, and no guy is ever going to change that
Best: No pick up line is good, and no they will never work. A genuine compliment is what works.

What’s the best way to get you to go on a date?

Oh boy this one is tough. I rarely go on dates…and its not because I think I’m better than anyone, I’m just very busy and if I’m going to spend the one free night I have a with a guy it has to be I‘m really interested in. If I’m attracted to you AND you can make my laugh, then I will most likely give it a go.

Kristen Wetherbee on Entertainment

What is a typical daily routine for you? What do you do for fun?

Most of my days consist of the gym, work, and I‘m constantly searching for ways to further my career. I keep to myself during the days because that’s when I’m the most productive. I usually go out one night after a hard week of work. For fun I like to travel. I love spontaneous trips, I’d rather spend my money on traveling than clothes or jewelry.

What’s your favorite movie and why?

Basically any movie with Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, Kate Hudson, or Rachel McAdams. I’m in love with anything they’re in.

If you could be in any magazine which one you choose?

That’s easy – Maxim. Keep an eye out for me 😉

What Disney princess do you think you are most like?

None. They all rely on prince charming too much

What’s your opinion of people who work in the entertainment industry? Are we all as bad as people make us out to be?

I can always relate the most to people in the entertainment industry. To me they are all dream chasers. Sure there are some people that are fake or flakey and many who will do anything to get to the top, but you are going to run into people like that no matter what industry you’re in.

Kristen Wetherbee on Motivation

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you from, what do you do for a living, any career or life highlights you’d like to share?

I was born and raised in a very small town north of Boston. I just graduated from Northeastern University this past May with a degree in Communications and Business. Throughout college I modeled part time and was always conflicted between a “normal” career, and a career in the industry. But when it comes down to it, I don’t want to live a “normal” life. Since I graduated I’ve dedicated the majority of my time to modeling and acting and I’ve been fortunate to make some great money doing what I love. I’ve been able to use a lot of the skills I obtained in school to further my career and my degree has given me credibility and substance. I’ve met some amazing people in this industry who share my passion. There is no one I relate to more than dreamers and believers.

Where you do you see yourself in 5 years and what are you going to do to get there?

In five years I see myself as a more established, hopefully signed to a great agency, and traveling the world. To get there I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing – Putting myself out there, making connections, and staying focused, fit, healthy, and positive.

If money didn’t matter what would you do with your life and why?

I would be doing exactly what I’m doing. Money is great and I love the thought of spending in freely, but for me its more about finding happiness first. You can have an amazing salary, but if you are miserable at your job and dread going to work everyday, where is the benefit in that? If you follow your passion and you are doing what you love, money will find you.

What makes you do what you do with your career and personal life? What’s your primary motivator?

I mainly enjoy a modeling career because I am constantly meeting new and interesting people. I’ve steered away from an office job because I know I am meant to be out in the world not stuck behind a computer screen. The opportunities are endless and its exciting never knowing what’s coming next. As far as my personal life – my friends and family mean the world to me, I would be lost without their love and support.

What’s your number one inspiration quote you go to for that extra motivation?

Oh man there are so many. But I’ll keep it short and sweet – “Dream Big, Live Bigger”
