With the flapper style now in the past, curves came right back to center stage. The sex siren was a much more subtle take on the old 1910 style of the Gibson Girl mixed with the hairstyle and defiance of the flapper girl. The style was much more comfortable and didn’t require a corset, so women could be more active.
