Step back, The Avengers; Justice League is back.

Ending the buzz, Warner Bros confirmed that the next Justice League of America will be in cinemas by the end of 2018, or in the first quarter of 2019. It is also true that Zack Snyder is directing. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman – played by Cavill, Affleck, and Gadot, respectively – are also all making a big comeback.

As of today, the script is still far from done which, according to Warner Bros, makes it impossible for the movie to be released by 2017. Greg Silverman, Warner Bros’ worldwide production president, says the movie is going to be an expansion of the entire universe. Batman vs. Superman, which will be in cinemas in 2016, will set the stage for the JLA movie.

Warner Bros executives are also eyeing Wonder Woman to be the next super-heroine in the silver screen. The world is ready for her, according to worldwide marketing president Sue Kroll.

The Warner Bros executives declined to comment on definitive plans for the much awaited JLA movie, but they released information that they’re currently focused on producing movie adaptations for some of the world’s most popular comic books, such as Metal Men and Shazam.
