Damara Elephant Trail to Skeleton Coast
Travel by horse and see for yourself the desert adapted elephants and rhino, dramatic landscape, and experience the real wilderness area. Horseback riding will start at the northern Damaraland which is a wild and desolate area with a very small number of inhabitants. You will pass through challenging plains and canyons across a massive desert. You will be riding up to 50+ kilometers in a single day in a waterless area. The entire trail will cover an approximate of 320 kilometers for 11 days. Needless to say, it’s a huge challenge that’s not for everyone.
