11. Brad The Pit Bull
While both boys would have loved to have kept the puppy, neither could. According to their parents, both of them already have dogs at home and have their hands full. They did decide to give a new name to the animal, however, and chose to call him Brad. The name was suggested by Rice’s sister, after the actor Brad Pitt – because the little puppy was a Pitt Bull. They hoped that this new name would also mark the start of a brand new life for him, as well.
