16. Homeless Dogs
Greece is home to millions and millions of homeless street dogs. There are so many that there hasn’t been an accurate way of scaling how big this issue actually is. According to the Irish Times, “Stray dogs are a common sight in Athens, with many living in small packs within the city’s various squares or near tourist spots such as the Acropolis.” Some people aren’t so accepting of the furry neighbors that roam the streets.
