Devil May Cry – Ultra Violet
Ah yes, it’s time to start the list with this soundtrack. The Devil May Cry series, where you play as half-human, half-demon Dante (and in 4, you also play as Nero, a guy with a shard-shaped arm that’s got demon power in it) to save the world from demon invasion, has one of the best soundtracks in gaming history. Its tracks are a mix of hard rock and heavy metal tunes that will get anyone hyped up to beat down all the enemies. The moment you fight the first enemies in in the first game, the tunes will play and you’re so hyped to beat them down it’s like your invincible!
But if you had to choose the one track that would make you get up your butt to conquer the weights or the elliptical machine, this one is the track to go for: the Ultra Violet

This track plays during Dante’s fight against Nelo Angelo, a consistent boss that just wants nothing more than your death. This track’s got the right guitar and organ elements to really make it one of gaming’s best tracks. Listen to this one and feel that essence, that anger… yes, imagine the weights and elliptical machine as the Nelo. Now, go and conquer it!
