This photo is moments before the iconic photo of the Abbey Road album was taken. The Beatles gathered at EMI studios on the 8th of August of 1969 for the most famous photo of their career. The photo was taken by Ian Macmillan, a freelance photographer as well as friend of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
