Falcons

Falcons belong to the family of Falconidae and the genus Falco. They are referred to as the ‘long wings’ and the dark-eyed hawks. They dive at a speed of 242 mph when hunting for prey. Falcons do not build their own nests during the breeding season. Instead, they rely on the old nests built by others. Each type of falcon hunts in different ways.
