Do you have 30 minutes free of any activity right now? If you do, great. If not, do something and make those 30 minutes free. Why? Because in the next 30 minutes, you will see gameplay of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, the next major entry in the Metal Gear Solid series.

The Phantom Pain, which takes place after Metal Gear Solid 3, Portable Ops, Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes but takes place before Metal Gear 1 and 2 and Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, tells the story of Big Boss as he wakes up 9 years from a coma he suffers after the tragic events of Ground Zeroes. With some things from MSF still left in shambles and  his friend Kazuhira Miller held hostage in a desert-ridden place, Big Boss has to find Miller and rescue him to rebuild Mother Base once again and take down the XOF, the group that devastated him and his trusted associates in Ground Zeroes. But Big Boss will need to be strong if he wants to take down XOF, because the latter’s got a few things up their sleeve that may put the world on the brink of destruction.

The video that we will show here is a demo from E3 2014, where you’ll see one of the first missions you’ll play. This video showcases many of Kojima’s antics, such as the balloon-retrieving item which retrieves knocked-out soldiers, goats (huh?) and crates (yup, crates. Can’t even imagine how crazy that is), horse pooping in real-time (wish it was a joke but it’s not. Then again, it almost seems like. But it’s real), and… the cardboard box. Yes, the cardboard box, one of Metal Gear Solid’s iconic items, comes back once more to be used either as a strategic item or as just a way to pass the time.

It also shows some of the best improvements it will have over the other Metal Gear Solid games, such as the open-world scale, where each mission will have you traverse a lot of ground; the improved AI, where even the slightest sound can have enemies investigate; the real-time weather system and more.

Well, what am I doing? Just go ahead and watch this movie to see it for yourself. I swear, you’ll be laughing at the part when the horse poops in real time. Yeah, poop. In real time. Kojima’s subtle humor still exists.
