What If I Have A Busy Schedule?

I work two jobs and find it really hard to make it to the gym. What are some really speedy routines that I can do to still get a decent workout in between jobs or when I have some free time? The last thing I want to be is fat and rich! – Damian from Connecticut

Alon Shabo on a Busy Schedule

Stop making excuses. Wake up earlier and knock out the workout first thing in the morning. If Sir Richard Branson can find time to workout everyday, so can you. I have a busy CEO and family man as an online client, and he opted to purchase a set of dumbbells, and I prescribe him some pretty epic workouts. Just because you can’t get to a gym doesn’t mean you can’t get some quality workouts in.

I recommend timed circuits. You’ll save time, get a great workout, and make a great change to your physique. Something like:

1. Leg exercise (ex. Squat)
2. Upper body push (ex. Pushup)
3. Upper body pull (ex. Pullup)
4. Core (ex. Plank)
5. Explosive (ex. Kettlebell swing)

And Alon’s right… no excuses!
