Mulan
Ah yes, this is a Disney flick. The story of how Mulan (Ming-Na, who plays Agent May in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) went to join an army to stop the Huns, the villains of the movie. But she didn’t get permission to do it though: when she found out her aging father was going to join the army, she dressed up as a dude and escaped from her home to join. From there, she experienced a lot of crazy things like having a dragon sidekick, having a bunch of sidekicks and seeing her potential love interest. Also, this montage, while deliberately so crazy, gives us a peek into how they can make “a man out of you!” Think of it as the G.I. Jane of Disney. Yeah… (oh and did I mentioned she’s voiced by Ming-Na? Yeah, you wouldn’t want to make her mad).
