The Karate Kid (1984)
Ahhhh yeah. You know this one right? Just admit it! In this classic 80s movie about youth and martial arts, Danny LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) moves into a new neighborhood where he’s been roughed up by his new classmates, and finds a new love interest. But things begin to flower when he meets his neighbor, Mr Miyagi (Pat Morita), a stoic and calm old man. When LaRusso encounters him kicking his bully’s balls, he begs Miyagi to train him. At first, LaRusso is pissed Miyagi just lets him do chores. But overtime, he learns that all the chores he’s been doing are actually karate moves. This shows the discipline and determination a man must do to gain the skills that he can use in the future. And plus, it’s awesome that wiping stuff can help! Here’s the awesome montage.
