5. Ring Tailed Lemur

This lemur might look a bit awkward, but they’re in fact highly social creatures, living in groups of up to 30 individuals. These are also female dominant species, which is a trait that is common to lemurs. There are only about 2000 left in the wild, due to hunting, loss of habitat and trafficking.
