Squeeze hard

Grip the bar hard, squeeze those glutes and abs hard. You might not feel it when performing a certain exercise so make sure to squeeze it extra hard and feel that muscle contraction.

Lessen the load

Everyone wants to lift heavy. It’s important to refine your technique though and perform the exercise perfectly. If you have incorrect form and have a lot of weight on the bar, you risk injury. Take some weight off the bar and lessen the load. Refine your technique and then you will be ready to move up in weight.
