Don’t bring your phone

Your phone is a distraction. If you use it as a music player, turn it on to airplane mode so texts and phone calls do not show up. Texting and talking on the phone at the gym is not proper gym etiquette and will keep you from hitting your workout like you should.

Stay focused

Many people like working out with a friend, but keep conversations short. Stay focused on your workout and what you need to accomplish that day. If you’re unfocused and faced with many distractions, your workout will suffer.
