Have a plan

Go to the gym with a mission. If you have a plan, you will be more efficient and get a better workout. If you go there without a plan, you lose focus, don’t hit your muscles as hard and don’t get the workout you desire.

Log your workout

Log the exercises you do and the weight and reps you used. If you do this, you will be able to increase your weight safely and effectively. If you don’t record your workouts, the next time you come to the gym, you will struggle to remember all the weights, sets and reps you used last time.
